White Nude, Paris 1967:
Enumeration Examines the Margins You Wanted

I

[enumeration: grass grass stone lake away]

white shadow of singularities,
curve of scar to hip,
elbow to fingerbones.
the known angles
pressed between margins.
She was something in-between.
balls of cream, breasts, nipples.
enumeration, the balding comma.
examine the circles of the first buttock you see.
resort to the margins;
the comma was never the curve you wanted.

II: shift left

the comma was the angles [white shadow of singularities]
you were never something [balls of cream]
you resort to the curve in-between.
she examines the margins you wanted.

III: shift right

the comma resorts to the angles in-between.
She was never the margins. [balls of cream]
You were the curve. [white shadow of singularities]
You examine something you wanted.
